Best Smartwatch with Google Assistant:

After the smartphones, Google is now trying to put Google Assistant on its Wear OS 3 smartwatches. In this article, we will have a look at the best smartwatch with google assistant.

1. Fitbit Versa 3:

The first smartwatch choice on our list is Fitbit Versa 3 because of its affordability and a bunch of super useful health and fitness tracking features. These features make Versa 3 an excellent contender for the best health tracking smartwatch. Before we begin, you should know that the 2021 firmware update for Versa 3 now gives you talking notifications from Google Assistant. There are other additional features also, but they are not worth mentioning.

Fitbit is very eye catchy with its beautiful AMOLED 40mm display, redesigned button on the side, and you can even strap Versa 3 to your chest for accurate heart rate measurement. It looks more elegant than Versa 2 with the change in color to its chassis. You can have it in either soft gold or black color. The display is crisp, bright, and clear. You can see the information even in dim light and from any viewing angle. The bezel is a bit thick. Navigating through the menus with the touchscreen is very comfortable, and there is no lag at all.

Although the side button is a very big disappointment, you can avoid that by setting your screen to wake up with just a finger tap. However, if you want to use Alexa, you have to go through the side button ordeal because it will take you a lot of effort every time you want Alexa or Google Assistant to work.

There is a small speaker and a mic on the edge of the right side that allows you to take calls. The buckleless strap is also a novelty on this smartwatch. It has a fast-charging dock as well. Versa 3 has 5 ATM water resistance, and you can go swimming or take a batch with this on. Do not go sauna with this smartwatch. The fitness and health tracking with GPS, heart rate, and blood oxygen level monitors make it a very good fitness watch for you.

2. Fitbit - Sense:

The second Google Assistant smartwatch on our list is another smartwatch from Fitbit. This is happening because Google has bought Fitbit. Therefore, if you really want Google Assistant on your watch, then you need to consider the smartwatch line Google has bought. Let us begin our little review.

At the present market flooded with smartwatches from so many known and unknown brands, Fitbit stands a shoulder-high above many of the best in the world. Sense has put your wellbeing forward and strove hard to put features in the smartwatch so that you can find out more about the subtle or sudden changes to your mental and physical health. Sense has become an ECG device, and it can find out if you have atrial fibrillation. It can detect the level of stress you have, but if you really want to full access to this feature, you need to become a premium member.

However, for first-time sense users, the subscription is free for the first six months.

Fitness is another aspect of this watch. It has a heart rate monitor for you so you can train your strength and stamina by monitoring your heartbeat zones. Sense also has quite a few workout setups for you to choose from, like running, cycling, etc. The disappointment comes from the smartphone companion app. A lot more could have been improved, such as menstrual cycle, stress monitoring, and skin temperature monitoring.

The display is clear and bright. The straps are very comfortable. There are a lot of watch faces to give your smartwatch a new look every single day. The smartwatch will look really dandy on you because of its beautiful design aspects such as smooth rounded edges, stainless steel case, a gorilla glass protected color display, 5 ATM water resistance, ultra-long battery life, etc.

3. Fossil Gen 6:

The next smartwatch is Fossil Gen 6 on our list. This powerhouse runs on Wear OS 3 that came out in 2022. So, now you have Google Assistant on your Fossil 6 wearable. Let us have a look at its various aspects.

Fossil 6 smartwatch has powerful hardware and a sleek design. Its chipset is a 4100+ model of Snapdragon, and the newest Wear OS 3 at its core runs the whole system. The buttons are very easily pressable, the design has guarded the crown, and the bezel has a ridge. It has a classy look. Fossil 6 is faster with its Snapdragon chipset and beats its predecessor by a 30 percent increase in processing power. It is muscular with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM. During your use, you will understand the true meaning behind this hardware. Fossil fashions an AMOLED display of 1.28 inches.

Fossil can track the level of oxygen in your blood and has a heartbeat sensor. You can combine these with your Google Fit app. The battery seems to be the biggest letdown. Even casual use will drain your battery within a day. However, you can fully charge the battery within an hour with the fast charger that comes with it.

4. TicWatch Pro 3 GPS:

The fourth watch on our list of Google Assistant smartwatches is Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 GPS. It runs the newest Wear OS version 3. The watch has the same kind of design as the other in the TicWatch Pro watches. Although it does not have a classy look like the Apple Watch or Samsung, the design still is very attractive.

Pro 3 has a bigger battery than its predecessors from 2020. The body is a mixture of plastic and stainless steel with a thin bezel. With a bit bigger 1.4” AMOLED DUAL display, the buttons are also a bit apart from each other.

However, the major disappointment is that Pro 3 does not have military-grade certification for endurance, nor does it have gorilla glass protection, but it does have a very tough fingerprint-resistant glass cover.

The dual display implementation is what sets this watch apart from most others in the same price range. To save the battery, the watchmaker has used two different displays. When in standby or idle mode, the FSTN LCD is at work, but when you need to access the smart functions, you can tap the display to activate the AMOLED. This technology is a fine implementation and will definitely score a big number on the point table. It has a silicone strap which you can change anytime.

The new and powerful Snapdragon 4100 chipset is running on the Newest Wear OS 3. It is a quad-core processor with a speed of 1.7 GHz. The GPU also has better performance now with better efficiency in power. According to the manufacturer, Pro 3 can last for about 45 days on a full charge in casual mode.

Once the battery is drained, you can fully charge it within two hours with the magnetic charger. Pro 3 can track your blood oxygen, heart rate, sleep quality, and many more.

5. Mobvoi TicWatch E3:

The fifth one on our list is TicWatch E3 from Mobvoi. If you are looking for a budget smartwatch with Google Wear OS and Google Assistant, then TicWatch E3 is what you are looking for. It has been confirmed that it will get the Wear OS 3 firmware update in 2022.

However, inaccuracy in fitness sensors makes it just a very good smartwatch instead of an awesome all-around performer. The hardware at its core undoubtedly gives it the power for the performance you require. Let us have a look into the various aspects of E3.

First, we want to talk about the design of E3. The smartwatch follows a very simple and traditional round shape with a strap and a few buttons. It is available in dark gray only. According to the maker, it has a classic look. The face of the watch is a glass that curves and joins with the frame. The frame material is polycarbonate, but metallic paintwork gives it a metallic look. It has an IP68 rating for waterproofing and is good for swimming pools.

Although a bit chunky, you will not feel any discomfort even if you keep wearing it for days continuously. You can even go to bed with E3.

E3 now has two buttons for controlling the various functions of the watch. You will feel at ease while interacting with the apps. The buttons are large enough for fingers of various sizes and shapes. You will hear a clicking sound when you press a button. The display has a smaller size and lower pixel count than its predecessor.

However, the size and the pixel count do not become a barrier to ease of reading or use. It has good visibility under the sun as well.

The straps do not add any value to E3’s design as it looks cheap and is narrow at 20mm, but the strap is made from silicone and very much breathable, and does not stick to your skin. Besides, the strap is changeable. E3 has a 380 mAh battery, and you can run for about 2 days in casual mode with sleep tracking and Bluetooth always on.

The most devastating drain happens when you will use GPS for a workout. Just using GPS for half an hour will make you recharge the battery at the end of the day for safe use the next day. The watch comes with a magnetic charger.

Now, let us move on to the E3 sensors. According to Mobvoi’s motto, E3 is keener on helping people with their health and fitness aspects than focusing solely on smartwatch features. If you access the workout menu, you see that E3 supports about 21 of them.

Although E3 has trouble automatically detecting cycling, running, or walking, a manual start from the menu works just fine. You can set your movement goal for a particular day or every day of the week. You can get all the data synced to the TicHealth app.

You can track heart rate, sleep quality, blood oxygen, stress level, breathing, ambient noise, and lastly, you can even send all the data to your health center. However, you need to take into account that it is absolutely impossible for a watch to know if you are sleeping or just relaxing on your bed or couch without moving at all, and as a result, there will be some inconsistencies. You can also get weather notifications.

6. Skagen Falster Gen 6:

Skagen Falster Gen 6 will officially become a Google Assistant smartwatch somewhere around mid-2022, and it has been confirmed. Although it is riddled with some inconsistencies in its GPS and other sensors, we will talk about it because it has many other perks too.

The heart rate monitor in Gen 6 has been upgraded. Now, it offers better accuracy and tracking. You will also have a blood oxygen level monitor. The charging has become two times faster than before. You can charge 80 percent of the Gen 6 battery in just half an hour. With the newest Snapdragon 4100 chipset, the loading of various apps became even faster.

You can take and place calls on your Falster Gen 6 smartwatch. You can work with the settings of the watch so you can save more energy. The design is also very attractive. It will take away your heart because of its design aspects. However, faulty health monitoring sensors and the GPS make this watch less of a fitness partner than just a smartwatch.

The good thing is that Gen 6 is equally compatible with iOS and Android devices. It has an AMOLED display of 1.28 inches and 8 GB of storage. The battery is very weak on this device. You cannot go a full day if you do not turn off various important health sensors. So, if you just like a beautiful watch and compromise the health sensors, you have good looking watch waiting for you.

So, these are the smartwatches that are supposed to get Wear OS 3 update in mid-2022. So, if you can wait a bit longer, you can actually buy a decent smartwatch with Google assistant. Hope you find the right smartwatch for you.
